Employee Training

Training is the key to quality performance.  Our goal is to provide each security officer with the most current and relevant security-related news, information, and training available. Since no program is one hundred percent comprehensive, it must be an on-going effort.  In addition to classroom training, site specific training is designed for each client location.  Each client site is supplemented with periodic training memos, video tapes, and workshop sessions.  Continued training informs employees of new and changing techniques.  

PACWEST offers our employees and clients full-time, in-house trainers who are Fire/Life Safety Certified by the Los Angeles Fire Department and Instructor Certified in First Aid and CPR.  Some of our instructors are also certified in Techniques for Effective Assault Management (TEAM), and Managing Assaultive Behavior (MAB).   

Each Pacwest Security officer is constantly evaluated for on the job knowledge. Updated instruction is provided as needed and carefully reviewed to ensure training goals are achieved and all training is fully documented in each security officer’s personnel file and is available for your inspection.
